Accessibility Statement
Last updated: February 19, 2026
The PA Platform is committed to ensuring that our website and digital services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every student pursuing their dream of becoming a PA deserves equal access to the resources, tools, and coaching that can help them succeed.
Our Accessibility Standards
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. These guidelines help ensure that digital content is:
- Perceivable — Information and user interface components are presented in ways that all users can perceive, including those using screen readers or other assistive technologies.
- Operable — Navigation and interactive elements can be used with a keyboard, voice commands, or other input methods beyond a mouse.
- Understandable — Content and interface operation are clear, readable, and predictable.
- Robust — Content is compatible with current and future assistive technologies and web browsers.
Current Status
The PA Platform website (www.thepaplatform.com) is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of our content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility barriers across our website.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:
- Images: Some images on our site may not yet have descriptive alternative text (alt text). We are in the process of adding meaningful descriptions to all images.
- Video content: Some video content may not yet include captions or transcripts. We are working to add captions to all video and multimedia content.
- Color contrast: Some text elements may not meet the minimum contrast ratio requirements. We are updating our design to ensure all text meets WCAG contrast standards.
- Interactive elements: Some interactive features, such as carousels and slide-out panels, may not be fully navigable by keyboard alone. We are working with our development team to resolve these issues.
- PDF documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working to remediate these files and provide accessible alternatives upon request.
- Third-party content: Some third-party tools and embedded content (such as scheduling platforms and payment processors) may have their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We actively encourage our vendors to prioritize accessibility.
What We’re Doing
We are taking the following steps to improve the accessibility of our website:
- Conducting an ongoing accessibility audit of our website against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria
- Training our team on accessible content creation and design practices
- Prioritizing remediation of high-impact accessibility barriers
- Incorporating accessibility into our website development and content creation processes going forward
- Regularly reviewing and updating this statement as improvements are made
