When you have enough determination to persevere through hurdles that stand in your way, there can be nothing that stops you from achieving your goals. This seems a little generic as an opener, your story is the strong part, and jumping straight into it is typical for a reason. Be direct and confident. As I reflect on my life’s journey thus far, no single moment initially led me to this profession. My mother is a radiology technician, and she has worked as a practice manager in orthopedics for our local health system for as long as I can remember. I also spent a significant amount of time at the ENT growing up, and my provider happened to be a PA. I always felt comfortable and heard during my visits. They go the extra mile to educate and consistently advocate for their patients, showing them endless care and compassion. I really like this. I knew From a young age I wanted a career in medicine, and after watching and learning from a distance, I knew the PA profession was for me.

As years passed, I began to consider my future and the dream of becoming a PA. Despite my end goal when I entered college, I lacked vision. I initially found myself unsure of a career in medicine and was discouraged by a difficult first semester. Then I began to realize that everything I was working toward required me to visualize where I was headed, and I knew what I needed: motivation, and with that motivation came persistence, and my drive to become a physician assistant. I am thankful for the experiences that have taught me to appreciate the confidence that I have in my path. This alone, with a couple of small tweaks, works as your intro.
